Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. She was born in South London. She is English but her father was Nigerian. Her family was lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. At the age 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her breakthrough role came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl saw her in 2008 playing Bambi. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe was a part of Ashley Davenport for ABC's show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode drama aired just the duration of two weeks The CW and then it ended. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the show's first two seasons as a regular. But in May of 2013, word broke that the actress would quit the show due to her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty together with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The four brothers of Ashley, all very physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summer months, which means they grew up mostly in parks and arenas. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at the age of just two years old, she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Until she graduated from the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of tap, jazz, ballet and pointe as well as acrobatics, lyrical, musical theatre and hip hop. She was crowned the top individualist in all the major dance competitions including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
