Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic who is also a public talker. Feminist Frequency is a site with video and blogs on the representation of women in the media and in popular media. Anita Sarkeesian is an award-winning Canadian-American feminist media critic as well as blogger. Feminist Frequency is a non-profit educational website which examines female representations within popular culture's narratives. Removing gender stereotypes is the primary focus of her work. She also wants to highlight issues such as the harassment and targeted attacks on women online. Sarkeesian holds a Masters in political and social thinking at York University.
