Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro Ruiz (born on 10 January 1993) is professionally known as Rauw Alejandro is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. He has been dubbed the "King Of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3] He belongs to the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. [4] His debut studio album, Afrodisiaco, was released in November of the year 2020. Vice Versa was his follow-up studio album. The album's first single, "Todo de Ti" was released in June 2021. He has won two Latin Grammy Awards from twelve nominations. Raul Alejandro Ocasio was born on the 10th of January 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Canovanas and Carolina. [4][5] His father guitar player Raul Ocasio, and his mother and backing vocalist Maria Nelly Ruiz, introduced to some of his musical influences like Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown. [6] For many years, Alejandro and his father resided in the mainland United States, mainly Miami and New York City, where his inspiration came from the R&B and dancehall genres. Alejandro and Anuel A.A., a friend of his Puerto Rican rapper are childhood acquaintances. They attended the same school together and attended classes together. 9/10/10 Alejandro was a dancer with talent as a youngster and was also a contestant in talent shows. After completing high school, he enrolled at the University of Puerto Rico. He was a soccer player from the age of six to 25. But, he stopped playing due to the fact that he was not performing as well as he had wanted to. In the year 20 he suffered an injury. To be a scout for the Premier Development League (PDL) He moved to Orlando, Florida. Rauw Alejandro's music style includes Latin R&B, reggaeton, ballads, and rhythmic pop. Billboard claimed that this has helped him stand out from the growing group of reggaetones who are influenced by pop. [23] He was influenced early on by Presley and Jackson as well as later on by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee and Chris Brown. [24He also credits Ciara as his musical inspiration.
